Cortijo Rose Blanca - Spain
A Romantic Andalusian Wedding in the Spanish Countryside
Janine and Mark's wedding at Cortijo Rose Blanca in Spain was a magical celebration of love in the heart of Andalusia. This traditional Spanish Cortijo (farmhouse) provided an authentic, romantic setting for their destination wedding - think whitewashed walls, terracotta roofs, olive groves, and endless Spanish sunshine.
As their Spain destination wedding photographer, I documented their Mediterranean celebration from morning preparations through to late-night dancing under Spanish stars.

The Day
Cortijo Rose Blanca is every destination wedding dream - a beautifully restored Spanish farmhouse surrounded by olive groves and mountains. The morning began with Janine preparing in one of the cortijo's charming bedrooms, where traditional Spanish architecture and natural light created perfect conditions for getting-ready photographs.
The ceremony took place outdoors in the cortijo's courtyard, with guests seated under the Spanish sun (with parasols for shade!). The whitewashed walls, terracotta tiles, and bougainvillea provided that authentic Spanish aesthetic that photographs so beautifully.
During golden hour, we explored the olive groves and found stunning backlit portraits with the Andalusian mountains in the distance. As a destination wedding photographer, these are the moments I love - when unique location, perfect light, and genuine emotion combine.
The evening reception under string lights, with Spanish food, sangria, and dancing that continued until the early hours, embodied everything wonderful about Mediterranean destination weddings.
