The Day
Sopley Mill is one of those venues where every corner offers a photo opportunity. The morning began with Simone and her bridesmaids getting ready in the mill's beautiful bridal suite, overlooking the river and mill gardens.
The ceremony took place in Sopley Mill's elegant ceremony room, with floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the space with natural light - every wedding photographer's dream! The emotion during their vows, with the peaceful river and countryside visible through the windows, created genuinely moving images.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks on the riverside lawn while we captured group photographs against the backdrop of the historic mill. The extensive grounds meant we could find dozens of different locations for couple portraits - from the riverside path to the wildflower meadow and the mill's original water wheel.
